fyi... my "standard" for this is something along these lines:
* Sample command lines, but not to be used mindlessly: no bold face.
* Sample command lines to be used exactly as specified: bold face
For one-liners, a prompt to indicate if a command should be run as root
or as a standard user should be shown. For big blocks of commands to be
copy/pasted (i.e., upgrade docs), no prompt should be shown to keep the
copy/past easy.
