A complete replacement of "checkout report" with a new and improved plugin based search interface is very high on my list of desired. Checkout report was always a quick and dirty little thing. Hopefully the new search plugin will be completely take over this functionality. I'm thinking you should be able to very quickly and easily do simple or complex searches, and maybe even save common searches and re-run them with one or two mouse-clicks or shortcut keys. There could be some pre-loaded searches, such as "Show all files I have checked out", which would obviously take over for the old checkout report.
What I'm thinking is something along the lines of Windows Explorer, where the left-hand frame can either be a tree-view of the filesystem (the archive, in the case of SJ), a search form, or something else. And the right-hand frame shows the relavent file list. You should be able to perform the same actions in the same way on the right-hand file list, no matter how you got the list. So hopefully, when we addres all that, we'll filter out annoying bugs like the one you're seeing. --Rob --- Marc Palmer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > ...If not already there: > > View Check-out Report can be time consuming.
