(Juba NSV, South Sudan) - On Sunday, Mr. Pagan Amum called a press
conference to update journalists on the significance of recent
contracts it signed with various oil companies operating in South
Sudan's oil sector.

With the renewing of these contracts, Pagan believed South Sudan would
be firmly in control over its oil. He added the new deals will enable
the Republic of South Sudan to monitor how much is being produced, and
how much is being sold.
