October 27, 2012 (KHARTOUM) – Sudan will relocate an ammunition
factory outside its capital Khartoum following an air attack allegedly
carried by four Israeli war planes on Tuesday 24 October

Khartoum governor, Abdel Rahman Al-Khidir announced Friday that
President Omer Hassan Al-Bashir instructed to relocate the attacked
factory to another site far from the urban areas.

The decision comes after reports that four people were killed and over
35 houses were damaged during the attack.

The governor in the first day of Eid visited, Friday, the families of
some victims , and pledged to reconstruct a house gravely damaged
where one of the four victims were killed.

The opposition parties reacted differently to the airstrike on the
military factory.

Sadiq Al-Mahdi, leader of the largest opposition Umma National Party
denounced the attack saying that despite their differences with the
regime but they reject any aggression against the mother country.

"With regard to the issues of the nation we are all in the same
trench, and this must be clear." he further said.

While some other opposition parties opted for silence to express their
indifference, Haq, a small left party, said they do not feel that the
attack was directed against the national interests.

The elitist party further said the weapons and ammunitions produced by
the military complex target mainly the Sudanese in Darfur, South
Kordofan, east Sudan and Khartoum, and pointed out to its military
alliance with the Iranian government.
