 Thursday, 16 May 2013 07:10 |
Missing cattle from Manyangok Payams are worrying people of Tonj South
County fearful that cattle raiding was back in the area on Friday.

Tonj South Police Commissioner Santino Monybut told Radio Don Bosco
that the news of cattle raiding in Manyangok payam were false.

He said the cattle missing were lost and not stolen when their keepers
took them for grazing.

Mr Monybut added that news of a cattle raid in Manyangok made people
in Tonj fearful that raiders were back in the area.

The Police Commissioner said the cattle were lost because the keepers
took them into the bush far from the cattle camp.

Mr Monybut told the people of Tonj South County not to be afraid
because cattle raids are over in the area
