Mundri West County Acting Commissioner urged the citizens to take up
their hoes and produce food to fight hunger.

John Keliopa was speaking on Thursday during the thirtieth anniversary
celebration of the SPLM Day in Mundri West County, Anisa Radio
reported.

He called upon citizens to abide by the rules set by the county
authorities to promote peace, security, hygiene and sanitation.

Mr Keliopas condemned Yau Yau’s groups for killing their own people.

He appealed to the rebels to stop all kinds of aggression, return home
and join their brothers and sisters in building the country together.

SPLM County Chairperson Bullen Abietero urged Mundri West communities
to live in harmony and abandon the practices of killing one another
for the cattle.
