Jubek State government ask to takeover Juba security
JUBA (12 Oct.)

The Jubek State government have demanded that they take over security
of Juba after a security meeting on Tuesday.

The call came after a state government meeting that dealt with
insecurity in the capital, stemming from road attacks by armed groups.

“After a discussion about the security of Juba, the meeting resolved
that the security of Juba city is to be handed over to the government
of Jubek State under the leadership of our Governor Augustino Jadalla
Awani,’’ said Salah Bunduki, the State Minister of Information.

He said if the Jubek State government took over security in the
capital, it will ease patrols throughout the city.
