Museveni hold talks with president Kiir JUBA (22 Dec.) The Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni on Thursday visited South Sudan and held a closed door meeting with his host, Salva Kiir, at the state house in Juba. The visit of the Ugandan leader to the country was unannounced. He also did not make any statement to the media on arrival and no immediate release was made from the talks he had with president Kiir. It therefore remained unclear what the two leaders had discussed behind the door.
