January 23, 2017 (JUBA) - South Sudanese government under President
Salva Kiir announced on Monday it was longer hosting Sudanese rebels
in its territory, disclosing that a joint force will be deployed soon.

Presidential advisor on security affairs told Sudan Tribune on Monday
that there were no longer Sudanese rebels in the country after the two
countries have agreed to improve ties
“There is no problem anymore with Sudan. The issue of security along
the common border has been addressed. There will be a joint monitoring
and verification team”, said Tut Kew Gatluak.
In accordance with the 2012 security arrangements agreement the
parties committed themselves to deploy the Joint Border Verification
and Monitoring Mission (JBVMM) and activate the Safe Demilitarized
Border Zone (SDBZ).
Accordingly, the parties deployed the joint units but Juba suspended
its participation in November 2011 when the South Sudanese government
rejected the administrative and security map presented by the AUHIP.
The proposed map included the disputed 14 mile area in the buffer
zone, the Malual Dinka of Northern Bahr el Ghazal and the then State
Governor Paul Malong Awan refused the measure as they refuse even to
accept Sudan’s claim on the area and its inclusion among the disputed
areas.
Unconfirmed reports says Juba and Khartoum discussed the situation of
14 Miles during the joint security discussions but nothing filtered
about the agreement reached on this respect.
The presidential aide said the decision of the leadership of the two
countries would do the best to promote peace and encourage any group
with political grievances to use dialogue.
“South Sudan will never be a launching ground for hostile activities
against any nation in the region. We will never be a host to hostile
group. Political differences are always resolved through dialogues
rather than through the use of violence approach”, he explained.
The two countries, he said, have agreed to not provide arms and
training to non-state proxy groups.

South Sudan government already denounced the present of arm’s
personal from Sudan in it’s territory but Sudan under Bashir,don’t
accept.
south Sudan can’t host any enemy in her territory.

SPLA-N is South Sudan government and South government is SPLA-N.
They have never been separated since training of SPLA began in Bilpham
in 1983. The SPLA was split into SPLA-N and S. Sudan government but
not regional based. I have several friends and relatives in S. Sudan
government that are servicing in Nuba Mountains and Blue Nile as
SPLA-N rebels.

Whather you believe it or not SPLA is one. The SPLA-N rebels
are part of government of S. Sudan. There are several SPLA-N and
Darfurian officers that I know by names that are servicing in South
Sudan government. They receive salaries from the government of S.
Sudan. They are part of decision making in South Sudan.

I believe you brother cuz you are telling the truth.
Arman, Agar and Al-Hilo receive orders, arms ammunition and salaries
from their commander-in-chief President Kiir of South Sudan. SPLA-N is
part and parcel of SPLA-S. I wonder why South Sudan is calling its
army and ruling party SPLA/M? I don’t trust Dinka state!

Sudan govt already deploy SAF joint border patrols since
2011 when Sudan and South Sudan discus the deal, but South Sudan govt
rejected the deployment of joint border patrols ,but i don,t think
that Sudan govt will accept this deployment of Joint Border Patrol

Naath,
After all the prove showing no longer present of Sudanese
rebels inside South Sudan territory, it will be right time for
Sudanese government to stop support or hosting South Sudanese rebels
i.e SPLM-IO offices in Khartoum then all two nations will live in
peace

Is it not shame that we are thinking about having good
relations with Sudan Govt while our govt in juba is conspiring with
Egyptian and Ugandan govts to oust the Sudanese and Ethiopian govts.
We have to stop behaving like kids who do bad things and expect others
to forgive them or think their bad deeds are not known to others. Let
harvest what we sow without complaining. Ethiopia is a starting.

S Sudan government proved itself as a liar right? before they
denied strongly any Sudan rebel in S Sudan soil and now said they
expelled them out! who will fight the S South rebel if you guys expel
them out?
Anyway,we can’t trust you anymore unless we have a permanent
military base in the border and our drones (unmanned planes) patrol
the border 24/7!

You are absolutely right bravo Jalaby, that is just for the sake
of saying that they are jointly going to patrol the border with SAF.It
will never materialize because JEM, SPLA-N are the ones fighting on
their side(SPLA) against South Sudan rebel in Renk, Bentiu, and Raja.
