The Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Yei questions government silence over the murder of Sister Veronica Rackova by SPLA last year. Bishop Erkolano Lodu Tombe says late Sister Veronica’s relatives are asking why up to now justice has not prevailed, Radio Easter reports. The bishop is calling for justice over the brutal murder of Sister Veronica. Sister Veronika was shot while on medical duty on the sixteenth of June last year. She died shortly in Nairobi, Kenya while receiving treatment. Bishop Lodu asks President Salva Kiir’s government why it has remained silent over the murder amidst earlier reports of arrests and ongoing investigation.
