Malnutrition cases on the rise in Kapoeta

KAPOETA (28 Feb.)

Kapoeta Hospital in Eastern Equatoria has witnessed an increase in the
number of malnutrition cases, a medical official said.Mustafa Lokoro,
Medical Director of Kapoeta Hospital, told Radio Tamazuj on Tuesday that
the number of malnutrition cases admitted to the hospital has increased,
saying they receive more than 10 malnourished children every day.He
revealed that UNICEF and other organizations plan to carry out a survey
before establishment of a malnutrition center in Kapoeta town. Lokoro
complained about acute shortages of live-saving drugs in the health
facility.
