Yet another patch release for Windows, this time making reading URLs
with wget/curl work
by reading wget's output in binary mode... and making reading from
ffmpeg work on Unix
by *not* reading in binary mode (glibc's popen() fails if the mode is "rb"!)
Ah, Windows. Such fun.
