Python 3 is not likely, because that would require also porting Soya to it. Python 3 is incompatible with 2.x series and requires code changes rather than mere recompile. If nothing else, at least a build of 0.13 for Python 2.6.x or 2.5.x would help. 2.4 is really long in tooth today ..
