Hello,
Recently, I completed work on creating a solution for automated patching
of CentOS operating systems using Spacewalk. This included gathering
information from a centralized MySQL server, configuration files, and
interacting with the Spacewalk API. All of this was scheduled and
executed from cron in Bash and Perl scripts.
The scripts and config files included the following activities:
-server group information sync from a central database
-email notification of patching windows and efforts
-default packages for updating management
-patching scheduling requests during specified window
-weekly and monthly report generation on automated patching
-errata update import
I was wondering if you had any interest in these efforts for the
