my guess is, you must be missing rhel-instnum rpm on server. If not,
install that, restart satellite-httpd and retry your registration. If
you already have that, please past me the traceback from
/var/log/httpd/error_log

While running 'registration.new_system': caught
exceptions.KeyError : 'xmlrpc'
Can anyone who has CentOS 4 clients registering please point me in the
right direction?
