Hello, I did succeed this conversion. I've been using a rhel 6 box and the recommended zip archive from july. What version on OS and spacewalk are you using?
Anyway, if you succeed, you won't be able to deploy the recommended on the client: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=838033 I've been doing extensive tests on solaris support with spacewalk 1.7 in june. You can find the complete thread here: https://www.redhat.com/archives/spacewalk-list/2012-June/msg00172.html All the bugs I found (affecting only postgresql setup) have been corrected in spacewalk 1.8, except the one listed above affecting solaris client.
