My Friends, Hello! I'm on SW 2.6 and would like to get to 2.8. I tried upgrading from 2.6 -> 2.7 the other day and ran into the java rpm issues here <https://www.redhat.com/archives/spacewalk-list/2018-March/msg00105.html>. After working through issues and completing the install, I could not connect to my SW server, nor was I able to tell from logs what the problem might be.
In any event, does anyone out there have a strong feeling about whether upgrading is the way to go, rather than a fresh install or 2.8? Would an export of 2.6 data even get properly imported into a 2.8 instance? Thanks, Guy
