Hi Merphis

You could use "which" to confirm its location but sbin should be in your PATH:

[root@<server>~]# which spacewalk-service
/sbin/spacewalk-service
[root@<server> ~]#

It may not have found it because you copy/paste with the capital "S" perhaps?!

Initially, you could use "spacewalk-service status" to report on the status of
all the Spacewalk components.

Regards
Phil

Not sure if it was the same in 2.7 that it is in 2.9, but for 2.9, it's

Spacewalk-service start

Subject: [Spacewalk-list] Spacewalk Start up

Hey,

I know this should be easy but I could not find an answer on google. We
had to restart our Spacewalk 2.7 server overnight due to a power issue.
When we start the server the spacewalk did not start up now I cannot figure out
how to get it started.

I am running Oracle Linux 7.6 so I would have thought a systemctl start
spacewalk would have done it. But hell I cannot find a service to start. I
have googled for several days and really am puzzled .

Any idea how to get this stuff started?

Making plans actionable!

Regards,
