spamd is running on Linux 2.2.19. When the system is probed by nmap 2.53 from
remote host, spamd simply dies. Running with --debug provides no additional
info.
probing localhost with nmap 2.54BETA22 causes no problems.
cmdline for spamd is
perl /usr/local/bin/spamd --auto-whitelist --daemonize
--pidfile=/var/run/spamd.pid --local --allowed-ips=127.0.0.1,196.0.0.0/24
--listen-ip=0.0.0.0
