I forgot to mention another point. Because of this I am _very_ skeptical of DSPAM's claims of performance with 125,000 users. That doesn't mean that an ISP with 125,000 users could not run DSPAM. I just believe that either their users don't have the same volume of mail or the ISP has more hardware available to throw at the problem than Kelsey does. I haven't seen any figures from them expressed in data per second and I see nothing about DSPAM that would be sufficient to work around the issues in my analysis.


Please, if anyone can prove me wrong either by poking a hole in the argument or showing me numbers that say that DSPAM really does get the performance, please do so.
