Summary: Check for Web sites whose MX records point to loopback
           Product: Spamassassin
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P5
         Component: Rules
        AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
        ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I've recently received a number of spams (mostly pharma) coming from domains
with wildcard MX records pointing to 127.0.0.1.

Very few legitimate people/organizations/companies would give loopback as their
mail server's address, but many spammers do this, presumably to try to make it
harder to report them.

Perhaps a rule could be added (for network configurations only, of course) to
check for this ... though it might also not be a great idea due to the
potentially high cost of all the DNS lookups it would require.
