Summary: Custom Rules -- Based on Email or Domain
Product: Spamassassin
Version: 2.63
Platform: All
URL: http://apexwebsolutions.com
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P3
Component: Rules
AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Whitelists (and blacklists) are handy, but I'd like to increment or decrement
the SA score based on a custom-designed rule based on the email address of the
sender or recipient.
Sender:
For example, my SA is tagging all emails from sbcglobal.net as spam. (Their
email goes through a variety of relay servers.) The emails I saw were from
friends, and not spam. I don't want to create a whitelist_from [EMAIL
PROTECTED],
since that would allow spammers at sbcglobal.net to have a green flag. What I
would want is something like this:
score custom_from [EMAIL PROTECTED] -1.2
Recipient:
Some spammers are getting email addresses from online sources that fail (argh!)
to protect email addresses from spammers, such as bugzilla. How about:
score custom_to [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2.8
Eventually this could grow into:
score custom_body VI.AGARA 10
