Building RPM of 3.0.0rc1 on Fedora Core 2. Commands to build:
ln -s Mail-SpamAssassin-3.0.0-rc1.tar.bz2 Mail-SpamAssassin-3.0.0.tar.bz2
rpmbuild -ta --define 'srcext .bz2' --define 'release 0.1rc1'
Mail-SpamAssassin-3.0.0.tar.bz2
Error message:
cd spamc
/usr/bin/perl version.h.pl
version.h.pl: creating version.h
spamc/configure.pl: version.h.pl: Failed to get the version from
Mail::SpamAssassin.
Please use the --with-version= switch to specify it manually.
The error was:
