After tallying the votes in the three-way logo contest tie-breaker,
we're pleased to announce that Christian Rauh's "arrow" concept has won
the SpamAssassin logo contest. We want to thank everyone who submitted
a logo (53 different concepts!) and especially thank Michael Douma and
Walter Kobylanski for submitting additional designs for the tie-breaker.

Christian's concept received 6 out of 7 first place votes and had no
last place votes. His winning concept can be seen in the 1.0.2 set of
images from here:

I rather deliberately stayed out of this process, because, due to my past life as a graphic designer, I just *know* I would have gotten waaay too involved. :-)

However.

Congratulations to *all* of the people who submitted logos. I was blown
away with the range of creativity in the samples, and just tickled by
the quality of the artwork submitted from round one onward. I know from
experience how much energy many of you put into your submissions, and it
shows in the results.

Final congrats, of course, to Christian, whose work was also my overall
favourite, but not by very damned much. Meaning, your work was
exceptional, and you had some pretty stiff competition. Well done.
