Do you want to carry it through till 4.0? Ok, this is the RC but the name of that routine is definitely wrong and misleading. But of course we could of course keep a (deprecated) stub routine which just calls the new one. Also, we really need to find a more efficient way of documenting our API. I often don't have an idea which part is public and which is internal only and what actually exists there. The *scoreonly* stuff I just discovered because I tried to find out why spamd doesn't print a debugging message when it reads the user config. Hmmm... something more like JavaDoc for Perl would be cool.
