I've noticed that there is a bulk email program that
seems to do this. I assume it is a bug in their
software. When they are using the open relay, they
put a line feed somewhere in the header and the mailer
interprets that as the beginning of the body.

I get a couple of these a week on my hotmail account.
I can see that they show up that way there before I
get them onto my computer. I seem reasonably sure
that hotmail has conquered any locking problems on
their end by now and the problem happens before SA
sees it.

The beginning of the body wouldn't happen to look
something like this would it?

I wrote a personal rule to look for the message-Id in
the body because it seems pretty distinctive and
always means spam in my case.
