But my point is that the triplets error message is not output to stderr
unless debugging is on.  I cannot see any way in which this can affect
procmail -- unless maybe procmail has a problem with output on stderr as
you suggest.  But if that's the case, then running SpamAssassin without -d
would fix it.

Simon, have you tried using spamc?  that is (a) faster and (b) will not
produce any output on stderr, so if this is the bug, it'll work around it.
