I have been struggled for the past few days trying to find a simple smtp relay plugin for SpamAssassin that will do the following:
1. Listen on a pre-specified IP and port 2. Scan any incoming message for Spam 3. Pass *good* messages onto another pre-specified IP and port 4. Pass *bad* messages someplace else ( not a requirement tho ) >From documentation and FAQs, it appears that spamd and spamproxyd fulfill those >requirements. Unfortunately, I have run into the following issues and am now >completely confused: 1. There appears to be multiple versions of spamd running around, each doing something different. One appears to be an smtp relay and one appears to be just a middle-ware piece without the ability to pass messages to another host. 2. Spamproxyd seems to require a SpamAssassin module called SmartHost which is no longer included in the current releases of SA. If anyone could offer a good solution or clear up my confusion, I would be forever grateful! thanks in advance, Bill Unger ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibility Learn to use your power at OSDN's High Performance Computing Channel http://hpc.devchannel.org/ _______________________________________________ Spamassassin-talk mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/spamassassin-talk
