I have the same problem.. debug: bayes: tie-ing to DB file R/O /root/.spamassassin/bayes_toks Cannot open bayes_path /root/.spamassassin/bayes R/O: debug: Initialising learner debug: debug: Only 0 spam(s) in Bayes DB < 200 Although I ran sa-learn-nonspam and sa-learn-spam on both of my corpii to import over 2000 emails each, and my _toks and _seen were updated correctly in /var/qmail/bayes/ I have tried setting bayes_path /var/qmail/bayes/ bayes_file_mode 0700 in /usr/share/spamassassin/10_misc.cf and in /etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf to no avail.
