Hi all,

I am running SA 2.55/Amavisd/Postfix on RH 8 with site-wide bayes db. My
/etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf has a line:
 bayes_path /var/spamassassin/bayes
/var/spamassassin and all bayes files are owned by user amavis
Amavisd/SA, running as user amavis uses this bayes db and it works fine.
sa-learn, running as either root or amavis also updates correct db without
any problems.
When I try to run check_bayes_db as either root or amavis ,I am getting an
error "Cannot open file ~/.spamassassin/bayes_toks". Even when I put
"bayes_path /var/spamassassin/bayes" in the ~/.spamassassin/user_prefs, I am
getting the same message.
Is there something I have to do to make check_bayes_db look at the
non-standard location? Can I pass bayes db path to check_bayes_db at the
command line?

 Thank you,

 Sergei Genchev
