Hi, I am having some problems with running the spamd/spamc pair on a HPUX 11.11 mailserver, I have been running spamassassin (v 2.55) as a standalone (executed via maildrop) for over a year and it works perfectly apart from pushing the load of the server way up at peak mail times. Hence I started looking at running the spamd/spamc pair which I believe were designed to reduce the load of busy servers.
While this appears to work most of the time, every now and then, it causes mail to be Deferred (these messages are cleared when sendmail is restarted) and the following entry can be found in the mail log. Jul 30 06:39:36 mailsrv spamc[16011]: oops! message_dump of 8187 returned different Anyone know whats going wrong, and how to fix this? Any help would be much appreciated.
