After getting everything to compile, and installed, I did the following test as suggested in the USAGE document:

spamassassin -t < sample-spam.txt > spam.out

and got this error:

Use of inherited AUTOLOAD for non-method Sys::Hostname::SYS_gethostname() is deprecated at /usr/lib/perl5/5.6.1/i686-linux/Sys/Hostname.pm line 71.

I checked the spam.out and it appears to have done its job as tagging it as SPAM, "X-Spam-Flag: YES". But I don't want to ignore this error message.

I get the same exact error for the:
        spamassassin -t < sample-nonspam.txt > nonspam.out


Anyone have suggestions as to how to fix this? My ISP's webserver is running Red Hat Linux release 7.3 and Perl, v5.6.1 built for i686-linux.
