I checked the archives looking for solutions to individual user
preferences not being read from mysql even though the @GLOBAL settings
were but did not find any posts that actually solved the problem.

I can verify that @GLOBAL read from mysql is working. I'm running spamd
as OPTIONS="-d -x -q -v" and spamc with from qmail-scanner-queue.pl as
just "-f". If I remove @GLOBAL it uses the default required_hits=5.

What I want is users like [EMAIL PROTECTED] to read from mysql.

I am using vpopmail + SA + mysql + qmail-scanner-queue.pl and have it working for individual prefs for all users. There is a patch for qmail-scanner 1.15 on the qmail-scanner sourceforge page <http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=642206&group_id=6
116&atid=306116>. I have been using it on 3 different servers for a year now and it is working very well.

If you are using the default database creation script included with spamassassin you may have to increase the size of the username field to accommodate the increased length due to the domain.
