A forwarded message is a brand new message. That brand new message is NOT sa tagged, even though it may contain some SA markups because the other message was tagged.


Once you've forwarded a message, there's generaly no way to reconstruct the original.

All new headers are created, Mime sections are changed, the body is modified with things like "forwarded message from", you mailclient may wind up re-encoding the HTML, etc. To a reader, it looks a lot the same, but to a mailer, it bears little resemblance to the original.
