Good afternoon, all,
A quick update on the sa-blacklist at
http://www.stearns.org/sa-blacklist/
We're up to 8800+ domains.
The list is now available in multiple forms:
- raw domains, good for squid
- at-domains, good for qmail's "badmailfrom" file
- sendmail-access, good for /etc/mail/access unconditional blocking.
- and of course the .cf and .uri.cf versions for /etc/mail/spamassassin
If you're using a different MTA or other tool and would like me to
provide the list in a different format, no problem. Just send me the
syntax to use for each line and I'll put it into the build system.
As always, I'm glad to take submissions of new domains (thanks to
everyone that has sent some in!). Please, please, _please_ let me know
directly ([EMAIL PROTECTED], with "blacklist" in the subject) if you find
false positives. It's truly embarrasing to me when I read of people that
posted here with false positives in my list, and I didn't see it until 2
weeks later (I tend to read this list in chunks, and sometimes quite
late).
I'd like the list to be useful; each false positive hurts its
reputation.
If you find the list useful, cool! The one favor I might ask;
tell a friend about it. It's a shame to keep it all to ourselves. *grin*
Cheers,
- Bill
