Hi All, Has anybody tried using this new surbl with spamassassin yet?
Yes, I use it, it works great. Several other users have posted similar praise, check the archives.
I went from about 2.0 - 3.0% FN rate to about 1.0 - 0.5% FN rate on my spam when I installed SURBL. (I use all three lists, but be.surbl.org is being merged into ws.surbl.org as we speak).
Soundsmuch more interesting than just a normal dnsbl...
Yes, it is.. IMO it's not really a replacement for DNSBLs however, it's a complimentary technology.
When will spamassassin support it out of the 'box'. ;)
3.0, which is slated to be the next release.
