Is there a timeframe for releasing the next stable version?
When it's done?
The last estimate I heard was one Theo posted in Feburary, and that claimed "sometime in may".
However, looking at the bugzilla, there's still several outstanding bugs to fix before 3.0

Once they get all the bugs fixed and freeze the code, it will take about 3 weeks to do the mass-checks.
So, on pure speculation, I'd venture to guess early or mid-July.
However, the developers of the project should have have a better feel for this than I do. (ie: Theo, Justin, Daniel, etc.)
