I added the rules in the local.cf file for Spamassassin:
# How many hits before a message is considered spam.
required_hits 5.0
rewrite_subject 1
# Text to prepend to subject if rewrite_subject is used
subject_tag *****SPAM*****
But when it tags spam it doesnt rewrite the subject. I know it is working
because of the headers:
Received: from **** by *** by uid 92 with qmail-scanner-1.22
(clamscan: 0.72. spamassassin: 2.55.
Clear:RC:0(67.175.2.124):SA:0(5.1/6.0):.
Processed in 2.788216 secs); 14 Jun 2004 22:24:46 -0000
X-Spam-Status: Yes, hits=5.1 required=5.0
When it says yes for X-Spam-Status that means it is tagged as spam
correct? If so then the rules above should tell it to rewrite the subject
correct? But it doesnt. Can anyone point me in the right direction to
troubleshoot this issue? I am looking on the Spamassassin site and not
finding anything.
Thanks
Robert
