FYI, MailScanner does an excellent job with file names and types, and can be
set to quarantine encrypted .ZIP files and apply normal filename rules and
virus scanning inside unencrypted ones. It does not, however, integrate with
the MTA to the level of returning 5xx error codes during the SMTP session.

Mimedefang for example allows you to do this, and their are numerous other
MTA's that let you do this.

Let me think of MTA solutions that can do this:

Postfix(which version??), amavis, mailscanner????,mimedefang,exim4????

What MTA+SA solutions can give a 5xx error code based on the spam score,
or a detected virus?
I'll add it to the wiki, if I can get a list.
