I have a exim 4.31 with sa-exim(spamassassin 2.63) and exiscan (clamd) running one a rh9 box with 1 gig of ram with dual 1.8proc. The system works great till it gets a message and starting eating swap and memory till it either times out (240 sec) or completely runs out of all memory and swap. I have turned on debug but there is nothing in there that looks different then a normal message that is scanned in 5 sec or less. I have it setup to look at messages under 768k since some of the spam I get is 640k.
I found this in the archives but no solution and they appear to match my problem The only solution I have so far is to not use spamassassin since I keep lossing my mail server.
