-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: RIPEMD160 I decided to try out 3.0.0-pre2 with mysql. Although I've used SA for a couple of years, I am clueless about mysql. Nevertheless, I installed all the required perl modules and tried to follow the mysql documentation provided with SA to the letter.
To my amazement, I actually got it to work...with one exception. If I use the user and password I set up for the database in local.cf, it does not work. If I use root and no password (a standard user with the mandrake mysql rpm), it works like a charm. Since I suspect this is not secure, I'd appreciate it if someone might give me a clue on how I screwed up.
