Hi list,

looks like one of our customer's mail servers may been an open relay, and using 
us as a smart host.

Hence we appear to have been blacklisted by this body as referenced below. 
(This was forwarded by our customer).

I've never seen a mail of this type that basically amounts to blackmail before. 
Has anyone had any dealings with these people? Does anyone actually use them as 
an RBL?

If http://openrbl.org/dnsbl?i=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx does not know other POSITIVES than
UCEPROTECT, that is true only if the counter for POSITIVES shows a maximum of 1,
there is no need to do anything additional now. You will not have to pay. 
Your IP will become deleted from UCEPROTECT-L1 shortly and and you will be
notified about that.

But if http://openrbl.org/dnsbl?i=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx knows additional POSITIVES on 
other
Blacklists, you will have to pay 10 Euros per each POSITIVE by Paypal.
It is important to tell us, it makes sense to send a Paypal-Request to you.
You will only get an Invoice, if you tell us, that you will pay.
If you do nothing, your IP will stay blacklisted for at least 12 Month from now.
We will delete your IP from UCEPROTECT-L1 as soon as we receive your Payment,
and you will be notified about that.

Please note:
It is our users choice, how often they synchronize our database.
After an record is deleted, it can possibly take up to 24 hours, before all
Systems worldwide will accept Mail from such a formerly blacklisted IP.
