Yes, I finally took the plunge today too - I had hoped to wait till 3.0 went
stable but with Chris' post regarding BigEvil's pain level I figured it was
time.
# cpan
install Net::DNS
install LWP
install Mail::SpamAssassin::SpamCopURI
Create a rule in /etc/mail/spamassassin (or wherever your rules are)
uri SPAMCOP_URI_RBL
eval:check_spamcop_uri_rbl('sc.surbl.org','127.0.0.2')
describe SPAMCOP_URI_RBL URI's domain appears in spamcop database at
sc.surbl.org
tflags SPAMCOP_URI_RBL net
score SPAMCOP_URI_RBL 3.0
remove bigevil from rules_du_jour
Did I miss anything? Do I have to wait for SPAM to come in (shouldn't take too
long) or is there a good way to test this?
