Howdy guys- I'm having some difficulty setting up SpamBayes with Outlook Express.
SpamBayes is installed and configured according to instructions with "mail.comcast.net" in the very first field. I followed the instructions on FAQ 4.21 but I think I am getting hung up at step #12. When I go TOOLS>ACCOUNTS>PROPERTIES>SERVERS I see the following (text inside quotes is editable field) SERVER INFORMATION My incoming mail server is a "POP3" server. Incoming mail (POP3): "Mail.comcast.net" Outgoing mail (SMTP): "smtp.comcast.net" INCOMING MAIL SERVER Account name: "rowski" Password: "*********"" I assume from the instructions in step 12 that I am to replace "mail.comcast.net" with "localhost" Good so far? When I do this and try to check mail, I get a window: Window header = Logon - mail.comcast.net Please enter your user name and password for the following server. Logon Server: localhost User Name: "rowski" Password: "********" Reentering user name and password and clicking OK just brings back same window. Can someone please get me back on track?
