That's attractive in theory, however you will always have some false
positives (good messages which are erroneously marked as spam).  maybe you
haven't seen such cases yet, but you will eventually.  By automatically
deleting spam mail, you lose the chance to scan your junk archive for such
messages.

One thing some people implement (myself included) is an extra spam
threshold.  Above that higher threshold, the messages either go into a "high
spam" mailbox or are deleted.  Messages that score between the low and high
spam thresholds go in the regular spam mailbox.  That two-threshold
functionality isn't in the Outlook plugin, the POP3 proxy or the IMAP filter
as far as I know.
