The last thing I want to do is to restart Chuck's argument with Mark, but I think I detect a possible misconception in the above text. Outlook will cheerfully open and attach any closed .pst file within reach if you refer to it from inside Outlook itself. It doesn't require any involvement by Spambayes for that to happen.
