For those of you who want to help Gary: he mails with the following software: X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook, Build 10.0.6822 That is probably Outlook XP (2003 = version 11) and he probably uses SpamBayes as Outlook plugin. @Gary: SpamBayes is not backed by a company but by a group of individuals spread around the globe. A lot of people don't live in your time zone (it's noon here in Belgium, I'm on my lunch break at work and I use my free time to check my mail) so phone support may be almost impossible. Anyway traditionally email support (mailing list) has always been the preferred method of support for these kind of collaborative projects. I understand that this is awkward for non-IT-people, but it has benefits: the next person who has the same problem as you, can read your email and learn from it, without even having to ask questions in the first place. Or someone can refer him/her to a previous answer. This speeds things up a lot, especially for unpaid volunteers. Concerning your problem: sorry, I don't use Outlook. But the Documentation describes where and how to find a log file: http://spambayes.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/*checkout*/spambayes/trunk/spambayes/Outlook2000/docs/troubleshooting.html#CheckLog Check this file for more details about your problem, and please ask again on the mailing list if you need help with the log file. Also, please give a very detailed step-by-step description of your problem, and anything you have done so far to try to fix it. -- Amedee _______________________________________________ [email protected] http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/spambayes Info/Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/spambayes Check the FAQ before asking: http://spambayes.sf.net/faq.html
