You don't mention how you tried to unsubscribe. Did you complete and submit the form at the bottom of http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/spambayes <blocked::http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/spambayes> , click on the unsubscribe button on the next page displayed, and confirm your unsubscription as described on that page?
