Thanks I have tried that, but not after resetting/deleting toolbars
admittedly. 

I will reset toolbars and try that again - if you don't hear from me assume
this sorted it. Thanks for your help

Have you upgraded Outlook since you last installed SpamBayes?  Maybe
uninstalling and reinstalling SpamBayes will help.
