Thanks Skip, I just google a bit and looks like open relay server is not popular in this area any more. Will try the approach you have suggested.
Thanks! .hac http://onhacks.org ________________________________________ From: [email protected] [[email protected]] Sent: Sunday, December 06, 2009 8:17 AM To: .hac Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: [Spambayes] spampot -- spam honeypot server hac> 1. I don't know if anyone is still running a honeypot using spampot.py. To get spam into your honeypot you need to publish the email address which feeds into the pot. Posting messages on mailing lists or Usenet newsgroups which include that email address in the Reply-To: header is probably the best way. Also, you will probably need to put the honeypot address out there repeatedly. -- Skip Montanaro - [email protected] - http://www.smontanaro.net/ _______________________________________________ [email protected] http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/spambayes Info/Unsubscribe: http://mail.python.org/mailman/listinfo/spambayes Check the FAQ before asking: http://spambayes.sf.net/faq.html
